Forgotten Industrial District by Destiny

Leftfield Bass

Regular price $49.00

Created by Manchester-based producer Destiny, Forgotten Industrial District: Leftfield Bass Explorations is a deep dive into a constructed world built from the feeling of abandoned industrial spaces, then reimagined through a surreal, leftfield lens. Raw metallic textures, fractured rhythms, unstable bass movement and evolving atmospheres come together in a collection that feels physical, abstract and slightly impossible to place.

About The Pack

Forgotten Industrial District sits at the intersection of leftfield bass, experimental electronic music, alt-pop and forward-thinking club production. Drawing influence from the worldbuilding approach of artists such as SOPHIE, Iglooghost, Arca and Flume, Destiny treats sound design as more than decoration. Every texture becomes part of the environment, giving the pack its own sense of place, movement and character.

Industrial-inspired ideas sit at the centre of the process. Metallic impacts become bass, mechanical noise becomes rhythm, and distant atmosphere becomes melody. Each sound is pushed further from its original source until it feels familiar but impossible to identify, creating a palette that moves between something grounded in reality and something completely imagined.

Nothing is over-polished. Distortion, instability and imperfection remain intact, giving the sounds a raw physical quality. Bass movements twist and collapse, rhythms fracture unexpectedly, and atmospheric layers evolve rather than staying fixed.

These are not simply finished loops. They are fragments designed to be reshaped, stretched, layered, chopped and broken apart again. Whether you are building experimental club tracks, leftfield bass records, abstract pop or cinematic electronic worlds, Forgotten Industrial District gives you the raw materials to take the concept somewhere entirely your own.

Step inside a world that doesn’t exist, but feels like it should.
